Boughs and Bows

On Saturday 15th January, I processed some fire wood. This meant choosing trees that had been on the ground for quite a long time so that they have dried out a bit.

Sawing logs and chopping up to good size chunks making them easier to burn.

Then on Sunday 16th January I started to learn Archery which I enjoyed very much. I have done it a few times before, when I was very young.

I used two different bows, a longbow and recurve bow and blunt arrows called dumb dumbs which had a rubber tip. I need a lot more target practice each week as, although I was good at drawing and firing, I only hit the target a few times!
